Same question hhoping for a different answer.

Hi, we are sailing on the AOS on 2/24/08, we are flying on US Airways. Does anyone know if there is baggage drop off at the pier for US Airways. We asked this question about a month ago and received conflicting answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Tahnx

Again the problem with this site is there are lots of opinions not normally a lot of fact. This is like taking a survey, add up all the answers you like and there you go. Proof is last time you got a lot of confliciting answers. Every thread is the same, a lot of conflict. Best thing is call the Port or US Air or RCI. Hopefully you get a right answer there.

I seriously doubt that US Air will provide a drop off service for your luggage. Call them directly and ask.

My Guess would be that you would have to collect your luggage like you normally would and take it to the ship yourself via what ever mode of transport that you are doing. Whether that be RCI transfer, or you hailing a cab.

With that in mind call US Airways or RCL and see how their transfers work in regaurds to luggage handleing.

Are you asking about them taking your luggage to the ship before you sail, or after you come back from your cruise, taking your luggage to the airport for your flight home?

Your question is really not too clear the way it is worded.

From experience, I know of no airline that takes your luggage, without you, from the airport to the piers since 9/11.

They prefer you be with it until it is checked in to the ship. ;) Then you can leave.
