MURANO, BURANO, TORCELLO tour in Venice

Recommended Posts

Has anyone done the Murano, Burano, and Torcello tour through viator.com? It is listed at $28.04 US per person for a 3 1/2 tour where you spend approx. 45 minutes on each island. Is it good or a rip-off where you just go to their stores and get pressured to buy from there? Does anyone know how much it cost if you just go to Burano? or just Torcello? Thanks! We leave next week...yippee!

Never heard of viator. We did it thru NCL and it was exactly as you feared, especially in Murano. It wasn't the pressure, it was the fact they left you no time to shop anywhere else before the boat left. Not enough time for either island.

However, it sounds like a steal for $30.00. Go, then take public transportation back.

We bought the Vaporetto multiple-day all you can ride Blue pass, and did M/B/T on our own (for free as far as we were concerned). We had made lunch reservations on our own on Torcello. We really enjoyed liesurely strolling around M/B, but really didn't see much to see on T (although we did have a great lunch...albeit expensive...at Locando Cipriani).
