Just returned from LOS and here are is a short review

We drove to the port of Miami had no trouble finding the terminal, pulled up in front about 10:15, porter took our bags, we parked in the garage opposite the terminal, all very easy.

Embarkation: went up to the holding area before you go through screening, since we were on the Paula Deen cruise we got our things from the CruiseOne people then waited for them to call "platinum/suites etc" since we had a Jr suite we asked the guy if that included us...he said not usually but he let us go :D we then went through customs and then sat until our tag was called we were group2...about 12:15 they let us board, no trouble..went to WJ ate lunch..by then our cabin was ready, so we dumped our bags, met our Attendant and then went to explore

WOW, what a ship....beautiful and so clean, everyone smiling and saying welcome we knew we would have a great time.

Sorrentos pizza is wonderful and if you want to take it back to your cabin you can get a whole one! Free!

Ben & Jerry's ice cream is good but you must pay for it.

The soda card is well worth it...$42 each adult

We never ate in the Dining Room ( I did prepay tips so the waiters got their $$ anyway) We ate at the Windjammer a few times..buffet style, same stuff everynight with a new "meat" each night.

We were surprised that the WJ did close most nights at 9:00 pm

We got reservations at Chops Sun/Wed night (formal nites on LOS)

Wonderful food great service highly recommend ($20PP)

WE LOVED JOHNNY ROCKETS!!!! although it was $3.95 pp and shakes/malts were extra it was without a doubt the most fun we've had eating...the onion rings/freedom fries are worth 3.95....the dancing and oldies music was so fun we could have stayed in there alot more..lol

Entertainment: We watched "Somewhere in time" it was okay..the singers were great..think the "theme" was lost in translation:D We went to the "love and marriage" show...it was hilarious, CD Ken Rush is very funny as is the Asst CD Dave Barfoot...we did not see the comedian or the ice show we forgot to get tickets:mad: We did participate in the Dancing in the Street 70's party it was fun. Bingo was fun for the person who won:rolleyes: of course we didn't...oops my daughter won a raffle...we paid $90 for a RCL hat/tote...lol

Won some money in the casino....lost alot more:eek:

Had fun with the Paula group and meeting some of the folks on the board!

Sunday at sea: this was our first formal night, but we opted to eat in Chops instead of the DR....it was wonderful and Alicia and Sachin were terrific.

Monday at Labadee: we tendered to RCLs private island....we weren't impressed sad to say....there was not enough "beach" for everyone IMO.

we stayed about 2 hours then went back to ship

Tuesday at Jamaica: we got off the ship, took a shuttle to shopping area...shuttle is $4 one way per person or $12 for the day pp. We shopped, then went to Margaritaville....again it was just okay..the cheeseburgers were not "paradise", not just us saying that either!

Wednesday at Grand Cayman: we tendered to the island...the wind/sea was very rough so tendering was a rocky ride but we made it! We ate lunch at the HARDROCK CAFE....$62 dollars for lunch..whewww

Thursday at Cozumel: we docked and walked to the first shopping "center" it was soooooo HOT you could fry eggs on the sidewalk...we did get our Mexican vanilla and T-shirts,then went back to ship and AC...lol

Friday at sea: played bingo...lost again:( played trivia, people watched, lost $$$ in casino....ate...shopped on ship...ate....took a nap....ate...went to Boleros to watch them salsa dance...ate....guess you get the picture...lol

Hope this helps someone....or did I just ramble and get on your nerves...lol
