Booking on Board

Does Silversea have a extra discount for passengers who book a new cruise while enjoying a cruise on a Silversea ? I know Seabourn offers 5%, and the Great old Sea Goddess also offered 5%. I have a late 05 cruise in mind, and am wondering if I should wait till our Silversea cruise late this year to book?

There is an onboard discount (currently 5%, but is has varied between 2% and 5% in the past, depending on the voyage selected.) If you book your cruise now, Silversea will permit you to "confirm" it onboard; thereby obtaining the onboard discount later. Make sure to bring your confirmation number along with you so you can ask the onboard bookings person to confirm it.

It is my experience that you cannot make an open booking. Simply book a short cruise as far in the future as possible. The deposit will be 10% BUT you can move the booking to another cruise and retain the onboard discount! Be sure to move the booking before the penalty period begins (currently 120 days prior to sailing.) Have fun.
