Room Service Question

I've always put the little card out for my morning coffee. Can you give room service a "standing order" for the whole cruise instead of using the card? We will be on Ecstasy.

I doubt it...not with 3,000 passengers on board. I guess you could ask your steward when you arrive.

 

Why don't you want to do the card thing?

Just grab enough for the week and fill them all out while on the Lido while enjoying your favorite beverage. Then just hang a new one each night.

Our steward (Paw) told our friends across the hall to fill it out each night to ensure they did get their coffee. He said there are so many rooms it might fall through- then again it might not.

 

Just fill them out when you get there it should only take a minute or so.

 

Also don't forget it's customary to tip EACH time they bring your coffee- my friends didn't realize this;)

I would imagine if it was just coffee or Tea (Like David mentioned), your steward could make arrangements for that. If it is food, just to make sure, you better do the cards every night.

Thanks for the response....yes I usually fill out the card every night (and tip). I just wondered if there was an easier way to handle it. But as you mentioned, I will fill them all out at one time and have them ready.

I always order something before going to bed and just hand them the card then, that way you dont have to worry about someone taking it or them not getting it.

I like this idea. We usually order cookies, brownies and milk in the evening so I'll have my card ready then.

We usually just get coffee in the morning when we first wake up and I tip $2.00. I take a stack of $1's with me just for this purpose.
