Vancouver--stay at Kinston B&B hotel or the Victorian??

Has anyone stayed at the Kingston B&B (Hotel) or The Victorian Hotel?

Haven't stay at either because I live in Vancouver but wouldn't recommend the Victorian because of it's location - the Kingston has been nicely redone and is on the edge of the vibrant downtown shopping and entertainment district - the Victorian is must closer to the more challenging part of the downtown core and i believe is really more of a long term hostel than anything.

 

Perhaps some of the other Vancouverites on these boards can provided more of an update.

 

Use to drink in the Kingston bar years ago and it was a good friendly place then.
