Cruise doggie Posted October 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2007 We are in the planning stages for our fifth cruise on the Liberty of the Seas in March 08. We have stayed in both Interior staterooms and Balcony staterooms .We would like to hear any experiences and what people think of the Promenade Staterooms. Thanks Everyone!! Jimmers Posted October 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2007 There have been threads on this question in the past. Generally it seems most people like them. They like to be able to look out the window and people and parade watch. And having a window, any window, in the room gives a feeling of space to it over a windowless room. I've also heard the rooms are a bit larger???? I'm not attracted to them for the simple reason is I don't like the idea of living in a fishbowl. If you're on the lower levels the people in the promenade can look into your room. And whatever level you're on, the promenade occupants on the other side can see into your room. So I would probably have the curtains closed 99% of the time. Except when I was peeking into someone else's room across the way. lol. Some people have complained about noise from the bars and band playing in the promenade. Others have said this hasn't been a problem. You've stayed in the others, give the promenade a shot. Maybe you'll like it. Jimmers:)
