Pro's and Con's for Promenade Staterooms on Liberty

Recommended Posts

There have been threads on this question in the past. Generally it seems most people like them. They like to be able to look out the window and people and parade watch. And having a window, any window, in the room gives a feeling of space to it over a windowless room. I've also heard the rooms are a bit larger????

I'm not attracted to them for the simple reason is I don't like the idea of living in a fishbowl. If you're on the lower levels the people in the promenade can look into your room. And whatever level you're on, the promenade occupants on the other side can see into your room. So I would probably have the curtains closed 99% of the time. Except when I was peeking into someone else's room across the way. lol.

Some people have complained about noise from the bars and band playing in the promenade. Others have said this hasn't been a problem.

You've stayed in the others, give the promenade a shot. Maybe you'll like it.

Jimmers:)
