progresso cheap drinks?

After we have toured Progresso and worked up a thirst where should we head for the cheaper drinks and beer we don,t mind local cantinas but we don,t want to pay more in Mexico than we do at home and I would also like to find a good cigar are there any vendors in Progresso a cuban would be good . Thanks in advance for any help.:)

Cubans are available on the street, just make sure they have the official (green) tax seal on the box. I got a box of five Cohiba's (Churchill length) for thirteen bucks after a little haggling.

 

All of the restaurants on the Malecon (beachfront) have Mexican beers (Corona, Dos Equis, El Superior) for $2 a bottle.
