Carnival Paradise to Ensenada

Hi,

I'm going on my very first cruise on November 16th! It's on the Paradise, and I'm wondering what to expect on what appears to be a really beautiful ship.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on shore excursions in Ensenada? I'm a little interested in going on the tour of the town, which winds up with a fiesta. Is there a need to worry about the food there?

Just basically, any help at all would be great for this little novice!

Thanks a bunch! :)

Are you doing the 3-day or the 4-day? I've done the 3-day twice and had a great time. I would heartily recommend the horseback riding excursion through the ship. It's a good deal and the horses are well cared for. I was afraid it would be depressing with broken down nags, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. The woman who owns the ranch is an American expatriate, and she's a wildly interesting person. The excursion is capped off with a nice lunch, then back to the ship in time for an afternoon of exploring the town.
