because of Kiko Storm, what to do in Ensenada & Catalina?

So, we're leaving on the Pride Sunday and if Kiko sticks around in Mexico, and we're diverted to Catalina and Ensenada.....what ideas do you have of fun things to do? Help! We really hope we'll be able to sail to the riviera, but....just in case, want to be prepared ahead of time, since I've heard the ship's "stuff" isn't a whole lot of choices.

Do you think Randi has a friend who rents horses on Catalina Island? (wink, wink!)

The forecast for Kiko is in our favor.....I will be on the Pride also...and I have been checking and following the storm pretty close. It looks like by Monday Kiko will be heading west out to sea...the sea's may be a little rough but I'm so hoping we will still sail south...

Just got back last night. Catalina has never been a "hot spot" for fun for me. Hang out in a cafe with a beautiful view of the harbor and make some new friends. We had a fabulous massage in Ensenada. Went to Buffadora and enjoyed food, drinks, and laughed a lot...you can do that in the rain. The weather was cold for the most part, a little bit of what you would call drizzle/heavy moisture in San Pedro. Overall I spent the trip in jeans, t-shirt, and jacket. It was warmer here at home. But, we had a blast anyway. There is supposed to be a cooking class in Ensenada. That might be fun. There is also a million and one things to do on the ship. I usually go, go, go in port and relax on the ship. This trip was the other way around.
