Shopping in Belize

Does anyone know what time the Visitor's area, with the shops near the tender station, opens? My ship arrives around 8:00, and I have an excursion scheduled for 11. I would like to do a little shopping, if possible, before we head out. I've never been into Belize City, so this is new to me. Also, is there a website that tells you what shops are around that area?

The shops in the shopping village will be open by the time the first tender lands at the dock.

 

Belize is a tender port. Chances are you will be arriving at the dock around 9 a.m. or so if you catch an early tender.
