Toddling on Cruises...

We were on the NCL Pearl back in February and our son was 19 months old. We had the leash but it was one of those doggie backpacks that someone linked to earlier. It gave us such peace of mind, especially when we were out on the decks walking around. You know how fast a toddler can move! In fact, he insisted on putting it on before leaving the cabin every single time. And even better, there is a little "pouch" in the dog so he carried his trains with him (thomas and percy). For the peace of mind it gives you, I think it is well worth any evil stare you may receive. And the actual leash can clip of the little doggie pack. BTW, we never once got any evil comments or stares. We got a lot of nice laughs from folks who thought he was so cute and many even said "what a good idea".

DH was actually very skeptical about this idea. I sent him noelscat's DS pic and he realized that it was a cute harness and not the "leash" type animal collar we were expecting.

We will probably buy it and leave the tags on. that way, if DS never uses it, we have the option of returning it.

Thanks again ladies!
