Xcaret/Xel-Ha

What is the snorkeling like at these places? Is there a lot to see? Thanks.

I've only been to Xel-Ha, but the snorkelling was great! It's actually "river snorkelling" in brackish water, but the water is very clear and there's a lot to see. The water is a bit deep, though. There are some nice restaurants there, macaws, a dolphin swim, hammocks, and lockers to store your things. There's also an admission fee, but I'm not sure what it is, as we were on a day-long tour from Cancun. I think you'll like it!

The water at Xel-ha is clear, it is just that salt and fresh mix there, I have snorkeled all my life and had a great day there.
