HightowerMom Posted October 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2007 Do the ships decorate for the holidays? We are cruising 11/24 on the Triumph and I wonder if we'll see Thanksgiving or Christmas decorations? What about the ports? Thanks!
LHP Posted October 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2007 Christmas decorations were up on our last Thanksgiving cruise. They were very nice...and added just a little something to the experience!!
texas greeneyes Posted October 25, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2007 We saw lots of Christmas decor on our Thanksgiving cruise (Conquest 2005). The various trees, ribbons, garlands and swags located throughout the ship were very lovely and made some great photo backdrops.
cruisedude859 Posted October 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2007 Any idea how long the decorations stay up beyond Christmas Day?
poodlemom396 Posted October 25, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2007 We had a carriage ride thru San Juan at Christmas time and it was like a postcard. The decorations were amazing in the square. We cruise every year at Christmas, decorations are very nice and really pretty tasteful. We were once behind a lady in line that was carrying on a artificial Xmas tree for her cabin and everyone in her group was wearing a Santa hat. Also a note: Everything is open on Xmas. They know the cruise ships are coming and they stay open for the business.
