staterooms for 3 adults

We are thinking of booking the Inspriation for May 2008. It will be my DH and DS and myself. This will be our second cruise-the first was on the Glory last May. Wondering if anyone has any information on rooms with one berth-does it fold out so that it is close to the floor? Will three adults be fairly comfortable in a room like this? Is there a sofa in the room as we had on the Glory last year(there were 4 of us last year but we had 2 balcony rooms). Thanks a lot-this site has sure been helpful!:)

We have sailed many Fantasy class ships with 4 to a room...even when number 4 was 6' 4" (our oldest son).

The Upper comes out of the ceiling and is like sleeping on the top part of a bunk bed. Oldest son said it was still comfortable. Yes, there is a ladder that is put out every night to help some one get up there if needed.

Also, if you book towards to front of the ship, the guys would be more conveniently located to the Spa showers to allow you a little more "bathroom time"....

On Fantasy class ships oceanview and inside cabins are identical even down to the window/fake window. For a larger cabin you would need a suite. We had three adults in a cabin on Elation two years ago. Our steward closed the upper each morning and opened it each evening. It was quite comfortable.
