musicgirl63 Posted October 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2007 We will be docked at Bermuda for 3 nights. I know it is customary for the shops to close while in port. Does anyone know if the shops will be closed the entire time or will they open up the shops at certain times like in the evening? One of my cruise rituals is to shop after dinner. musicgirl63 Posted October 31, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted October 31, 2007 I was just looking through dailies and found that out. I do understand. I guess I'll just have to make sure I get a good look the first few nights. Hey, I might even save some money!!! But then again, I could go popping through the stores right at the dock!!! I'm sure that is the idea!
Mysteryfan Posted October 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2007 On the New England Cruise I believe the shops opened after an hour of leaving that days port. Check your newspaper when you get on board.
Latino81 Posted October 31, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2007 On the New England Cruise I believe the shops opened after an hour of leaving that days port. Check your newspaper when you get on board. The duty free shops and casino's are always closed while in port and re open about an hour out of port. They have to be a certain amt. of nautical miles out before they can open.
