Anyone ever booked a GTY cabin then some time later recived your cabin assignment only to have that cabin changed perhaps at the last minute by a PVP phone call or at the port?

Each time that I booked a GTY -- I received the cabin number a couple of months before and it never changed.....but apparently I can change, as often as Carnival needs it too.

I have control issues, I think. I like to be in on picking my room, especially after reading some of the comments on bad cabins/noises. Let me know how it goes for you though!
