Vacationer17 Posted November 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2007 So my friends and I usually travel over New Year's and this year it is just myself and 1 other friend, we are single 30-something gals. Just wondering what to expect in the way of types of people, nye activities, etc. It really doesn't take much to keep us happy...a pool, bar, casino, sun, etc. We are on the Enchantment to Jamaica & Grand Cayman leaving on 12/29....anybody have any experiences with the New Year's cruise? Thanks!
RevSmith Posted November 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2007 There was a thread a little while back that had a movie and all re: New Year's Eve Cruise...look in the Video section at the top. It looked to me that it was relatively tame...people milling around the deck...dressed up, some with party hats and party horns...drinks in their hands...wandering around...when New Year's arrived people blew their horns etc. I'm going on a holiday cruise which includes New Year's Eve...but I think I'm skipping that...looks a little dull to me. However I do know that the club in the Viking Lounge is usually hopping with night life every time I've been on the Enchantment...lots of dancing etc. So if you like the "club" life this may be a fun, fun New Year's Eve. Sorry I can't help more.
