travgurl Posted November 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Well, I happened to call Carnival today and found out that the price on our cruise had dropped by $60 per person, that is because I am a returning passenger. So, I saved $120 today. Check it out. They said to call again before final payment is due in Dec. Also, they said I will be fine on our flight out of Miami at 11:20 a.m. Just let them know when I get on board.

JenKate Posted November 4, 2007 #8 Share Posted November 4, 2007 I'm jealous :) I'm willing to bet that my price won't drop at all until after final payment. We're sailing over Christmas!
TennisLover Posted November 4, 2007 #9 Share Posted November 4, 2007 I'm jealous :) I'm willing to bet that my price won't drop at all until after final payment. We're sailing over Christmas! At least they can't double your price now! I feel your pain - we always cruise over school breaks (but we did benefit from price drops on RCCL for our Pres Week 07 cruise). simplycruizen Posted November 4, 2007 #10 Share Posted November 4, 2007 We have saved $80. per person this time. $40. each the first Wednesday I called, then it went down again the next Wed. We have had our cruise paid off for months, but right up until you get on the cruise they can drop the prices if you call them. I know they told me a long time ago on Wed. and rarely thursdays are their onsale days. Thats the best times to call. They put our credits as onboard credit. I love it. They also told me if I book the airline tickets through them, and if there is a price drop on them they can give you money back for that too, but never goes up. WooHoo!!
