XM Radio at sea

Has anyone tried to tune a XM radio at sea?

Yes and no. We brought ours on the Rhapsody -- it was good all the way to Key West (as I expected) and worked a little on the way to Grand Cayman (closer to Key West) -- but for Grand Cayman & Cozumel and most of the way back to Galveston -- NO SIGNAL! :(

On XM's website there is a general statement that it will not work in International Waters.

The televsions have some sort of music channels similar to genre channels so you can still have a nice selection of uninterrupted background music in your cabin. On the announcement system there is all time music too if you point the dial in that direction.
