gemz Posted November 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2007 I will be visiting St. Thomas, St. Martin and San Juan and would like to know how to call home to Canada from these islands. Do I purchase a phone card from St. Thomas and I can use it in San Juan as well since they are US territory? I'll be in Miami for a couple of days prior to the cruise. Would I be able to purchase phone cards to use from the islands there? I'm curious as to what phone cards to buy that would work because I heard that some passengers leave phone cards for the ship staff and I do see them all using the telephones from the islands and I would think they are using phone cards. Thanks!

Thanks! Much easier to get a mobile and send texts or even a quick call (depending on the tariff). I can usually get reception in most Caribbean islands and saves having to try and find a card and then public phones..
