DRIVE TO EMERALD LAKE FROM SKAGWAY

What is the speed limit along the highway to Emerald Lake? We'll have between 6-7 hours to do this, will that be enough? We want to book the Whitepass train for the 4:00 run and I would like to be back by 3:00, starting between 8 and 9am And where is that Cinnamon place - Carcross?

We got the car and were heading out of town by 820. Made it back into town by 3 with several long stops. Cinnamon Cache is just past Carcross (5 mins at most) and right before Emerald Lake (another 2 minutes).

The drive is great you have plenty of time. Look at explorenorth.com there is a milepost for the highway from Skagway to the Alaska Highway. You'll find this a great help.
