travelgirl04 Posted November 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2007 Would like to visit a beach while in Antigua that is not overcrowded, with calm water, not many waves. Any suggestions?

Also are there bathroom facilities? and a place to buy a drink (water/soda/beer)? did you rent chairs and an umbrella?
cruise~critter Posted November 14, 2007 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2007 We've gone to Turner's beach every time we're in Aruba. It's beautiful and our favorite!
piratefan Posted November 15, 2007 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2007 The taxi was $32us each way. We shared that with another couple looking for a ride. Chairs were $5.00 all day. The umbrella was permanent(no chg.)There was a bar/restaurant on the beach. They had a board up with their menu, the Conch Fritters were really good($12us). They had beer and mixed drinks so I'm sure they had sodas and water as well. Yep, they had bathrooms there. Its a good 20 to 25 min ride, so get off the ship early so you get there ASAP. Have Fun.
