bubbles1209 Posted November 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2007 If I remember correctly, they dropped the Aruba, and Barbados ports so they could save on the cost on fuel. Now that they have started the fuel surcharge, and we're paying it, maybe they should add those ports back on. If we're paying for fuel we should be able to go to the ports we would like to see don't you think? Just a thought.:)

Doubtful Aruba will get added anytime soon.

yst347 Posted November 12, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2007 Last time I checked cruise ships still call on Aruba. Why not just book a cruise that goes where you want?

Princess charges more???? Just checked February 3rd just for the sake of a date and Princess' cheapest cabin is $649 while carnivals is $509. Looks like Princess is going to Aruba every other week while Carnival doesn't go at all. Bill

Bill We are doing the the crown out of San juan in Dec in a balcony for the same price we paid for the Valor last Dec. Plus $100 obc per person. But you are right the Destiny is pretty much priced rock bottom. And understandable considering the reviews.
