1st time in GC on the Majesty. any suggestions?

Will be in Grand Cayman for the first time in DEC. Any suggestions what to do. We like beaches and sightseeing. Is shopping good here? Thank you in advance.

Shopping is great if you like Beverly Hills :p . We usually stop at the cute gift stores right after tendering.. buy hats and stuff. Then we grab a quick drink at any one of the local establishments and catch a taxi (van) to 7 mile beach. They stuff us cruisers in there, so be prepared (4 bucks a head each way - CHEAP!.) Royal Palms is a fun beach with all the amenities you'd need. I hear Sea Grape is a good beach, but farther out on the taxi route. We're probably going to try that next. If you're on NCL's Majesty, you're only in GC from 8 - 3 which isn't a ton of time. I hear Stingray City is fantastic and worth doing when in GC. See some threads on that if you decide to go. We'll be sailing NCL's Majesty in January and did the same cruise last January. Whatever you do in GC you'll have a blast. It's a great place. Enjoy!
