Spot's Bay instead of Georgetown

Hi, we just returned from the Coral Princess; Grand Cayman was substituted for Jamaica due to TS Noel (we were happy about the substitution). When the ship got to Georgetown to anchor the conditions were too windy and we ended up anchoring on another side of the island at Spot's Bay.

It is a tiny town, not really any shops to speak of but their is an info desk and some tour guides followed the ship there to offer tours. DH and I had planned to walk to Eden Bay in Georgetown, so asked about beaches at the info desk and had a nice day at a little beach.

I wanted to share what we learned, in case any of you end up at Spot's Bay. There is a public beach about a 1/4 mile - with your back to the water, walk to the street and turn right. You will walk a narrow path facing traffic until you come to the cemetery, turn in there (you will see a porta potty) and that is the beach. It was very private and there were some trees for shade.
