Getting on and off ship at ports of call

Recommended Posts

I know most of the posters are discussing the Caribbean ports, but Australia and New Zealand are very strict on bringing any food in. Everything, including packaged food, must be disclosed and no fruit, meat products etc are allowed. Both Australia and NZ have a show called Border Control. One Qantas flight provided apples on board. Dozens of passengers took them off in Auckland without declaring them. All were fined $200.

Yes, I did.

I am not going to address this part of the issue any more. As I said, I knew there would be flames. I did not break any rules.

I hope that the OP can figure out what is best for them.

Have a great cruise, everyone!
