Excursion Charges

If you book an excursion before you cruise, do you pay for it then or with your bill at the end of the cruise?

 

When we booked Carnival we paid up-front, which was easier on our finances.

 

NCL and Princess asked for a cc when we booked the excursions beforehand, but did not charge us until we got our bill at the end of the cruise.

Excursions booked in advance through RCCL are charged immediately.

When we have booked them through Royal Caribbean ahead of time we have had to pay for them when booking.
