Captain Marvin - Stingray City/Hell/Turtle Farm

We are booking Captain Marvin for Stingray City. If we extend the tour to include Hell and the Turtle Farm we will be out during lunchtime. If anyone else has done this (or another long tour with Captain Marvin), what do you do? Pack snacks? Stop somewhere?

You might e-mail Joan or Ruth at CM's if you don't get an answer to your question. We've not done the island tour thorough CM's, so I am not sure what they do. There is a snack shop at the turtle farm, but I don't remember exactly what they had on the menu (sandwiches and such, but that's about all I remember). But again, there might be time between the two tours to stop in at a restaurant. Rackham's, which is right on the water, is just a very short walk to their place. If there is time between the two tours, and they don't have a lunch option, you might ask them to drop you there, and after lunch, just walk over to their office. Or it might be easier to bring some snacks from the ship. :)

We just got back from the Conquest and we did this tour with Captain Marvins. There is not time in between the tours to go out on your own to get lunch. From the Captain Marvin's office, they put you on a bus to go to their boat for the Stingray City and Snorkeling tour. After you finish this tour, there are two buses waiting at the pier. The first is for people who are finished with their tour. This bus will take people back to the office. The other bus is for those who have scheduled the Hell/Turtle Farm tour. This bus goes directly on the island tour and stops first at Hell and then continues onto the Turtle Farm. There is a snack bar area at the Turtle Farm. We didn't bother eating until we got back on the ship because we weren't hungry that early. Our tour was running a little late so we finished the tour around 1:30, but normally the tour finishes around 12:30. We shopped a little and then headed back to the ship around 2:30 and ate once back on board. If you are concerned about getting hungry, take some snacks with you (make sure they are in sealed packages) or eat at the Turtle Farm. Eat a big breakfast before you get off the ship and you should be fine!

Thank you! That explains everything I need to know. :)
