Yes I did on the Triumph. I went from a cat 11 to A cat 12. My parents on the same cruise went from a Balcony to a cat 11

When did you find out about the upgrade. We are not expecting an upgrade but it would be a great suprise. We already have a room number on the Triumph so I guess the odds are not good.:(

I had a group of friend pay extra to have rooms next to each other and not be moved. Much to thier surprise when they arrived in Miami port they had been upgraded to balcony rooms from inside cabins, that was on a march cruise. Last year DH and myself were upgraded to outside cabin with a great view on the empress deck from and inside room. I have not figured out how that happens either
