Best snorkeling in Belize?

Hi All,

 

I've been reading these boards for the past few months, and it sure seems that you have a tight community. I am new to cruising, and my family and I will be taking our first cruise on the Miracle 1/2/05. I love great snorkeling, and I hear Belize is one of the best places to do it.

 

What is the best snorkeling excursion in Belize (or Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, or Cozumel for that matter)?

[Knights on the Beach]

We did Carnival's Shark Ray Alley tour in Belize, and it was great! We've snorkeled in several places in the Caribbean, and I think this was the best so far. Check out our pictures:

Thanks Jason. Is the Costa Maya excursion you are referring to the Mahahual Beach Party? That looks like a heck of a deal with an open bar that includes even tropical drinks. I am very interested in that one - did you actually do that one? Just curious - how are the drinks? Do you have to get there yourself? If so, how far is it from the Port?
