Mariner Spa?

I've searched but can't seem to find anything.....

 

Where do I find information on the spa on the Mariner? Does anyone have any experience with it good or bad? Is it nice and relaxing or do they have a pushy sales pitch at the end?

 

Any opinions are welcome!

me and my wife sailed on the mariner in oct of 04 and had now problems with the staff. they were not pushy at all VERY NICE!!!!!

I've had very good experiences in the spa on Mariner. Ask for Katia if she is still on that ship. They do give you a sales pitch but just say no.

I had a good experience in the spa on Mariner in September. I had one of the combination massages (shoulders, back, scalp, feet) and it was quite good. I have regular massages, and was happy with the service. The masseuse didn't put any pressure on me to buy anything. In fact, she never even mentioned me buying anything! So I gave her a good cash tip. :)

 

Just a note --- I had my treatment on a port day and paid $79. My friend had the same treatment on a sea day and paid $140 ... so watch for those port day specials!

Hey! You may want to ask this on the All Things Mariner of The Seas thread. Or better yet someone may have already asked and answered!! Last cruise I was on I had a bad spa experience. Of course it was Carnival. They give you the service then give you a sales pitch at the end...:p
