Leaving Sunday - Need some advice olease

Thought I had all answers from the boards, but my mind must be getting fuzzy.

 

1. Can we get cash from our credit card with no added

charge at the casino on the Legend to use for shopping? I know we'll need some cash, but hate to carry alot to the ship.

 

2. Best way to carry water bottle on tour excursions?

(In backpack perhaps?)

 

3. What to do with passport, cash and ship's card when on the beach, snorkeling, etc?

 

4. If we board before the room is ready, who do we ask about putting our carryon's in our cabin if it's not ready? OR must we keep these with us at the buffet?

 

5. RE: coolers to keep in room for ice....Do we put these with checked luggage or pull them with us as carryons?

there is a 3% fee to get a cash advance.

yes, backpack or camera bag. they sell a little custom holder, too.

leave your passport in your safe (take a copy). take one card and minimal cash.

I've heard here on these boards that the copy of a passport will not be sufficient if for some reason you get stuck at the port... (missed ship, medical emergency, etc.

 

No personal experience just something I've read.

As previously posted, there is a 3% charge for cash advances. You could, however, bring Travelers Checks and cash them at the Pursers desk or the Casino for no charge. I've never had a problem doing this. I usually pay off most of the S&S account with Travelers Checks. No big surprises on the CC that way.:D
