GUEST234 Posted November 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2007 We are on Century for the Feb. 4 5-night sailing out of Miami. I had everything planned for a fairly liesurely trip, however, United Airlines has seen fit to cancel the late afternoon flight from Miami to Denver. The alternatives are an 8:45AM(HA!) flight from Miami to Denver or an 11:45AM flight from Miami to Washington to Denver. I understand it is about 30 minutes from the Port of Miami to the airport. When should I be able to expect to be off the ship? We are in an RS class suite and supposedly have priority disembarkation. I figure if we can be off the ship by 9:30AM, we should make the 11:45AM flight. Is this reasonable? Thanks in advance for your input and suggestions. embellish Posted November 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2007 Unless something unusual occurs causing the ship to arrive in port late or an issue with immigration clearing the ship, it should not be a problem for you to make the 11:45 a.m. flight. Request the earliest possible disembarkation and, if they offer early self-disembarkation (Celebrity sometimes does that on shorter cruises), take advantage of that. Last year, I made it to the office (I live & work in Miami) by 8:00 a.m., leaving right from the ship. Good luck.
