Any other 4AM risers out there? (no nasty comments please)

So, what time does the casino open? :-)

 

Not being facetious, and I'm not an early riser really. But I'm a 4 (and a half!) year non-smoker now, along with my husband. BEFORE I quit, I went to my first casino -- out of corpus christi-a boat. I smoked smoked smoked as I was wont to do. June 2006 we took our first trip to Vegas -- had a blast, but the smoke bothered, ya know? Still it was fun. July 07 (iirc) I drove to Louisiana for an overnighter by my self, spent 3/4 of my money at night, and saved 1/4 for the morning and found out --- that I loved the morning casino SO much better! The tables weren't crowded, the casino was not crowded, it wasn't smokey!! I enjoyed my coffee at the table. I'm not a big drinker, so gambling with coffee was much more enjoyable than in a bar atmosphere. Anywhichahoo... put that down to a learning experience of "now I know what I like better". Fast forward to Aug 07 and we went on our first cruise (Fantasy, N.O.) We stayed up really late -- well, I'm a night owl anyway, and we thought we would try the late night activities. Fact is, I didn't get much out of the night time shows. Magic show was okay, that's it. Guess I'm getting to be one of the 'nearly dead', eh? :-) I did enjoy kicking the kids out of the adults' hot tub and spending some cuddle time there in the open air while everyone else was partying :-)

 

Ok, it's late and I'm rambling! What I would like to know is what time DO the casinos open :-)

Early morning, coffee, Lido Deck, camera and wait for sunrise and pulling into that next port of call, all fun times. And to watch the ship wake up.

You can also strike up some nice friendships with other cruisers and staff.

I am always up at 4am on a cruise.

 

I grab a cup of coffee, throw a few personal items on some deck chairs by the pool, and then back to bed til about 11am
