jo797 Posted December 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2007 Hi, some more questions: we have sailed rccl 6 times, but not on a radiance class ship. How does the game room compare to the Voyager ships. is there plenty for 12 and 14 year old kids to do? Our last 3 ships were Voyager class and I am trying to make sure my kids will be as busy. Im good with just sunshine. thanks
cyscopup Posted December 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2007 we wer on Serenade last month for the Panama Canal cruise and about half of the arcade machines worked properly and the other half was hit or miss. There were two machines that did not work at all. Other than that there was plenty to keep the kids busy.
rclcruzer Posted December 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 3, 2007 Hi, some more questions: we have sailed rccl 6 times, but not on a radiance class ship. Im good with just sunshine. thanks We sailed her this past July to AK, 16 of us, for my MIL's 65th b-day trip. Being on the Voyager and Freedom class ships a few times, we quickly figured out we were spoiled by them. Don't get me wrong, Serenade is a beautiful ship, but my kids felt a little "unentertained", but again, it's only because they are spoiled from the bigger ships. Also, cruising AK is a COMPLETELY different cruise than to the caribbean, as we quickly found out. It's like a "working cruise" and cold, I think if my kids were a bit older they would have appreciated it just a little more. (12, 14 and 17). They had fun and yes there is plenty to do. ( game room was ok, some machines were not working, but they did not spend a lot of time there at all.) and by the way, I'm good with just the ray's too:p
jo797 Posted December 4, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted December 4, 2007 Thanks for your replies. Do you know about the pool tables, whether the older kids can use?
Sue L Posted December 4, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 4, 2007 Thanks for your replies. Do you know about the pool tables, whether the older kids can use? I believe the pool tables are 18 but if no adults are on there they would probably let them play. The balls and sticks have to been signed out at the bar there and that is how they keep control of the table.
