gehrandt Posted December 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2007 Does anyone know what NCL charges for the water toys on Great Stirrup Cay? Paddle boats VuBoards Floats sailboats Kayaks Parasailing On their site they mention $29 for snorkeling but I didn't find anything else priced. Also, do you know if they provide any free drinks (i.e. juices, ice tea) and/or how much the drinks cost? Kids are asking more questions the closer we get (Jan 19 - Sun) Thank you. I just returned from my cruise, and the only thing that they served at the buffet set up was water. I don't know if other cruises are the same, but that's what we received on the 12/8-12/15 cruise. Beers are available, but I do not drink. I do not know how much it costs to rent water toys... My advice for snorkling...bring your own kits. The water is also very beautiful here. Stay away from the tender ship area, being that they have a tendency of stirring up the sands when they tender passengers to & from the ship. There are also volleyball nets and a few ping pong tables set up. There are souvenir shops, but I would advise that you purchase your souvenirs from Cozumel the previous day. They are somewhat pricier at Great Stirrup Caye. Overall, it's a nice stopover. Enjoy!!!

I can't help with the water toys. As far as the drinks, my sister has 5 kids and she said she would have brought a cooler and juice paks/water for the kids. You can carry-on one of the soft carry coolers filled with the kids drinks and then ask your cabin steward to fill it with ice for the drinks. They will get thirsty over at GSC.
