weifam Posted December 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2007 We stayed in JS Room 9606 on the December 9 cruise of the Mariner. The room was a nice size and actually roomy for three adults. The balcony had two chairs, one table, and a chaise. Tyrone was the stateroom attendant and was attentive. The proximity to the elevators was convenient, however it seemed easier to catch an empty elevator at the other end of the ship to make it to the shows. If you have any specific questions, please pm me.
serene56 Posted December 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2007 The balcony on the aft will be so much bigger then the one on the side. but be aware that there is a crew deck on deck 6 below you. For some people this would put them out. The views on the aft are amazing. Since you would know abou tthe steel structure it wont be a shock. We had a regular balcony on the Voyager-- same class-- and it had two lounge chairs, 2 chairs and a small parsons type table with plenty of room to host my cruise critic party with about 15 people.
