beach and snorkeling

Hi everyone, we have 5 girls that are trying to plan an excursion on Grand Cayman. 4 want to go snorkeling (pref from shore) and 1 wants to stay on the beach. Is there any beach on GC that offers both sand and decent snorkeling? (they do not have any equipment, they would have to rent it). They range in age from 19 to 28 so, not too comfortable with them going to someplace really secluded either. the catamaran snorkeling trip offered by carnival has just snorkeling, so that would be a possibility if nothing else, (as stingrays are out of the question) but is there enough room on the boat for tanning? thanx in advance
