Good for you all making the decision. You might want to check the connection board out at:

Its a place for getting to know others that will be on the same cruise you are on before hand.

 

You might even want to consider offering meeting folks for a cardio kickboxing lesson in the gym area. Who knows, a couple folks might keep you company.

 

Word of warning on running on the ship. The track (as it were) is topside. Ship doing 20 nauts means you are going to have a 20 knot headwind (with no wind). Been up there when the apparent (ship speed+windspeed) was 50 nauts, not safe.

Not any truth to the demographic you describe. I have been cruising X since 2001. I am currently 39 and still find tons of people my age. My table mates have always been in my age group.

 

The only line that comes close to what you describe is HAL. Shorter cruises will have younger people. Even with that, I prefer the 10 night cruises
