Pattis_61 Posted December 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2007 The Royal Caribbean website says this is an obstructed view cabin. It is a corner aft cabin. Can anyone tell me what the obstruction is? Thanks

Can anyone tell me what the obstruction is? Thanks Here is a photo taken from the balcony of 6688... To see more click on my link and look at all the photos of 6688 near the bottom of the page (there are 10 photos)... http://travel.webshots.com/album/48328219CtbGLi?start=56 6688 is certainly not a favorite of the aft cabins, but many folks have said they did not find the obstruction to be bothersome and have booked that same cabin for subsequent cruises as they still felt it was better than a side cabin. What is this area? http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2205060420036355651OfqmNz Can folks just hop over the balcony railings and have a place to mingle? Seems rather weird. Seems rather weird. No, this area is not a public area. It is actually the roof over the crew area (which is on deck 5). That gray deck does not usually have any foot traffic other than the occasional crew member out there with a broom or a hose cleaning it off. The higher up your aft cabin is, the less you can see of this gray space. Deck 10 aft cabins really have a great view of the wake and almost no view of that gray space.
