Can anyone tell me what the major differences in the beaches at Paradise Island and Cable Beach are? Is one better for swimming (less rocky), shaded areas, facilities? Thanks.

We've been to the public beach at Paradise Island. It is good for swiming (not rocky but sandy) there are shade area's (trees), you can rent beachchairs (don't pay what they ask you!!) and waverunners and they sell softdrinks and coconuts.

I can't compare it to Cable beach since we haven't been there but Paradise Island was beautifull.
