Shopping in San Jaun

We are sailing out of San Juan at the end of February. Because we live in Canada, there isn't much of a selection of summer clothing this time of year. ;) As a result, I want to do some shopping while in San Juan for summer clothing for the cruise. Does anyone have any recommendations where to go? I know about the huge mall but was wondering if there are any local shops I should check out. What about outlets?

There are many shops throughout Old San Juan. We always fly in a day early and have had good luck shopping for DW and friends, especially if shopping for standard sizes. If you need specialty sizes, it might be more difficult. I'm 6'4" and need tall sizes, which can be difficult to find anywhere.
