Nath Posted September 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2004 We had a really good time. Weather was perfect (90's at all time) and sunny everyday. We enjoyed Horseshoebay twice. Seas were calm and food onboard was terrific. Third time in Bermuda since 2001 and still alot to enjoy. Got our bus pass and visited around. Did not seem to change alot even though an hurricane apparently devastated the island last year. Got in Bermuda at around 9AM on Monday due a medical emergency (which ended up being bonus time for us in Bermuda). We departed late Friday, again due to medical emergency and then on the way out to sea, during our passage in the channel, the staff captain announced that we had to go back to dock again in St.Georges due to another medical emergency. We finally took off at 3:00 pm. A 90 years old women died and with the Bermuda laws regulation, we had to disembark the family and the person who died...Sad ending of a vacation! Got to go...Will get back with more details in review shortly! Nath :-)

shoreguy Posted September 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2004 How sad. That sounds like one tough cruise for all concerned. If I make 90 please take me to bermuda and let me enjoy the island again before I go.

KenBenz Posted September 14, 2004 #7 Share Posted September 14, 2004 Got in Bermuda at around 9AM on Monday I'm guessing you mean 9AM Tuesday? You'd have to average over 40 knots to make it by Monday @ 9AM. Ken
