Mini-bar prices

First cruise in a few weeks...doing lots of research. ;) Saw an old mini-bar price list (on another website) for Carnival, and the prices looked pretty reasonable (beer @ $3.75, liquor @ $4.95). I'm assuming it's old, and things have gone up since. Can anyone post some prices to expect from the mini-bar currently? Thanks.

I looked to see if I had a picture that showed the mini bar prices and couldn't find it however, when we were on the Miracle last year, the prices weren't bad at all, not much differently from what you were showing. In addition to what you mentioned, the large bottled waters were like $2 and the cans of soda were like $1.50. We didn't drink much of it but a couple of times in the middle of the night we did get something out of it.

I hate to ask a dumb question, but what's IN the mini-bars? And are they in all cabins?

There have been several threads that have had a listing of what the liquor prices are. As I recall from the last trip, beers were various prices - depending on what you are drinking - domestic, imported, etc. I am looking for that thread.

Usually, there's a variety of things in the mini bar......beer, liquor bottles (the small ones), juices, bottled water, different types of soda

Actually you can thank Host Mach for this list. While not wevrything is in your room - this will give you an idea of prices for drinks.

Thanks sparkscruiser Mach & lindnet! A wealth of information indeed. The reason I ask was regarding the thought of bringing any beverages onto the ship as opposed to just buying some of theirs. As the prices aren't any worse than going out to a restaurant for drinks with your dinner, I may not bring as much along as originally thought. Thanks again for the quick response and your time!!
