Had a great time!!

Day 1-Embarkation-Ft. Lauderdale- Our flight arrived early-we had our luggage by 10 a.m. We figured would wait in airport for a few minutes before getting a cab to the ship. The lady who holds the sign for RC bus transfers told us not to go yet-that we would be "turned back" because the ship was not cleared yet!" (wasn't true!) So we waited until around 10:45 and was quickly in a cab and into the pier terminal waiting room(which had about 50 people already waiting inside) by 11:00 and onto the ship by 11:30!! Ta Da! We had a lovely lunch in the Windjammer and then walked around the ship until 1:00, when the rooms were ready. Our 2 DD had a JS which showed much wear and "patched" carpet areas. It was very cold that day- (45 in FLL), but their room was freezing.. so we called housekeeping to have someone come and service the room.( AC fan would not turn off!!) DH and I were in a Grand Suite that was fabulous. We had concierge services, but didn't use lounge too much. Julian was the concierge and he did our return flight boarding pass for us.

Day 2- Itinerary Change due to weather- supposed to go to CoCo Cay, captain said stormy weather over Bahamas. So Day 2 was an At Sea Day and we went west toward Key West. Formal Night-NO LOBSTER!! Boo!

We had sliced tenderloin of beef. It was good though.

At night-Comedy/Jugglers in Orpheum theater-"Root Berry"- I was bored. Left DH an DDs to go to casino!

Day 3- Key West -DH and 15yr old DD went parasailing. Had a blast! DD(18 yr old) and I went on Trolley Tour). We all met for lunch -highly recommend "Red,Fish Blue Fish" close to ship -very laid back, but A+ seafood(Buffalo Shrimp appetizer to die for!!) Walked around a few shops. Too full from lunch to try key lime pie on a stick!

At night we went to the show in Orpheum theater-Very good!

Day 4-CoCo Cay-Relaxing beach day. Noticed lots of chair saving here... we did get four lounge chairs, but probably last ones and that was 10:45. No people around, but lots of towels(????) Water was too cold for me but some brave souls were swimming!!

Chops for dinner that night.Excellent service and food. Four stars in my book.

In summary-we had a great time.
