VICKIVICKI Posted January 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2008 We are sailing on the feb.3 Conquest out of Galveston and just received our documents. We will be in room 8277[balcony]. Can anyone tell me about this? will we be watching the sunset or the sunrise? In the past[last cruise almost 10 years ago] we were towards the bottom in the middle and never got seasick. Will being up higher make us more likely to get seasick? Thanks, Vicki
ShedQueen77 Posted January 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Congrats on the docs! That is a fun time! I'm not 100% sure about the cabin but they say the higher up you are the more you feel motion. If you are midship and higher up it might help a bit. We were on the 6th floor of the Destiny midship and it was pretty good although nothing was helping the motion in the 45 knot winds we had the second night! ;) If we went up to the Lido or Sun Decks we could feel the motion more, especially on the aft.
