Westerdam - Covered Balconies?

All the balconies that face port and starboard are completely covered, so in effect, S and R class ships have NO uncovered balconies. The only uncovered or partially covered balconies on Vista ships are those on the stern and some on the ones port and starboard where the ship humps out (see the deck plans on HAL's web site).

It also makes a difference of how much sun you get and when, depends on which side of the ship you are on and in which direction you are sailing. An example would be sailing east to Europe; on the port side more sun in the morning. Sailing west to the USA more sun in the afternoon.

I hope this answers your question.
