Transportation from Fort L to Port

What is the best way to get from the Airport to the port. We fly into Fort AP and have about 3 hours to port. Is a taxi the best way to go or is there a shuttle. I imagine a shuttle would be less expensive. How far is the AP to the port.

Your question is not very clear.

If your flying into Ft Lauderdale and cruising out of Port Everglades (Ft Lauderdale's port) then taxi is the way to go. It's less then $15 for the 2.5 mile, 7 minute ride to the port.

If your flying into FLL and cruising out of Port of Miami (Miami's port) the consider the GOShuttle shared ride shuttle service. At $18 per person, it's a bargain.
